C++ Interface for HydroSHEDS data
Moving from model problems to real world applications can be a challenging task in numerical simulation. Data sources have to be read, processed and integrated with existing interfaces. This project wants to enhance a currently developed simulation code for coupled surface/subsurface flow simulations by integrating geographic data about river and lake networks.
What we do
This project is worked on by three B.Sc./M.Sc. students (Softwarepraktikum für Anfänger) under supervision of the SSC.
We aim to:
- Read the datasets from HydroSHEDS
- Provide C++ interfaces to access data set features
- Adhere to the sustainable development principles that the SSC stands for
